The Office of Faculty Affairs & Development

The Faculty Affairs Office's primary goal is to provide resource support for faculty with respect to their professional careers at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. The department seeks to ensure fair and consistent treatment of faculty, and to assist academic departments in recruitment, orientation, career development, promotion and retention of faculty and scholars. This department also provides oversight, advice and assistance for the processing of all faculty personnel matters, including the establishment, integration and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

Welcome to the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development. We are pleased that you have chosen Morehouse School of Medicine  as your academic home. We are here to  support all stages of  your career as a member of the faculty. Our  services include  faculty orientation and onboarding,  guidance and oversight of faculty appointment and promotion  processes, development of faculty related policies and procedures,  collaborative career development planning and strategically planned faculty development opportunities. We work closely with  members of the Dean’s cabinet,  Department Chairs, Center and Institute Directors, Human Resources and Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’s  Faculty Assembly.   We are fully committed to your success.
